Thank you for taking the time on this. I found 4 out of the big 5, but I don't think I've run across Bookends yet so thank you again!Margo Berendsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03476308235642890474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-849583276019228310.post-23401142024914496612010-06-16T15:02:48.166-04:002010-06-16T15:02:48.166-04:00This is so great! I totally agree with your "Big 5," they were must reads before I got an agent and I still read all of them occasionally.

Another website I loved was QueryTracker, because it was free and kept my query list neat and tidy. I loved that it had all the links I needed to research an agent in one place (Preditors and Editors, Agent Query, the agent's website, Publisher's Marketplace, etc).Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00861022355718378425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-849583276019228310.post-26060453911540824352010-06-15T08:56:05.835-04:002010-06-15T08:56:05.835-04:00Thank you for this wonderful list. (Okay, its not entirely relevant to the post since they aren't agents but they're both wonderful people.) I would highly recommend either of them as book doctors for anyone who has a manuscript that needs work and wants professional (but gentle) feedback:

Bill Thompson
http://www.billthompsonediting.com/

Juliet Ulman
http://www.papertyger.net/Sarahhttp://felixgilman.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-849583276019228310.post-77851868392273930232010-06-14T17:02:53.828-04:002010-06-14T17:02:53.828-04:00Oh my, this is like a birthday present or Christm...Oh my, this is like a birthday present or Christmas or both at the same time. (I agree that La Snark is probably La Query Shark, but we should let that mystery be.)

I'll bookmark and suggest all newbies read it. I'd thought of doing a post like this, but it seemed like wayyyy too much work, so thanks a bunch.Anne R. Allenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02420000168356370825noreply@blogger.com
