For those who observe & celebrate...

Photo found at Souvlaki for the Soul

Χρόνια Πολλά! Happy Easter! Happy Passover!

And for those who don't: a New Yorker cartoon.

  1. We celebrate both in our household. Happy Easter and Happy Passover to you, too! :)

  2. Happy Easter to you!
Did you mean to write Happy Birthday in greek?

  3. "Xronia polla" doesn't mean Happy Birthday, although it is commonly used as a birthday greeting... it means "many years" and is a wish for longevity, appropriate at most Greek celebrations and holidays.

But for those who would prefer a more Easter-specific greeting... Χριστός ἀνέστη and Ἀληθῶς ἀνέστη!
