I write contemporary women's fiction, and some really weird short stories. In this blog, I plan to talk about writing, and my path towards publication. Stick around. (For the time being I am not blogging on any regular schedule.)
This is something that might require some objective analysis to really know about oneself. LeeTossing It Out
I think sometimes it's just a matter of remembering to appreciate yourself. We so often downplay our own skills and attributes and admire what we don't have... and probably there's someone else out there doing the exact same thing in the exact opposite direction.I see parents do this, too. "Sure, my kid can read, but she's not social enough." "Yeah, my kids are social, but I'm worried they're not reading yet." RELAX. Enjoy what you're good at & take the time to give it the appreciation it deserves.
I love this.
